THE REVIEW

Anastasia just graduated from college and went to work for Laura as a paralegal assistant. Niko meets her and is drawn to her Immediately, but he has some trouble trusting her. When he makes the family connection, it gets intense quick and the drama unfolds.

This was a fun, quick read and the perfect break I needed between regency romance books. This one is a bit different from the first two in the series and I appreciated that. Anastasia’s family is actually connected to the Bratva and the Kutsenko family, so the developing romance was different this time around. She didn’t know about her family’s connection, but it still made for a different story line. It always takes me a bit to get into these type of books because they just read differently…short, choppy sentences and the dialogue does not flow easily, but once I get used to it, it’s an entertaining read!
